Wood : Ailsa’s Travel Theme

Sometimes, we can’t see the wood for the trees, and get caught up in the small things in life when we should see the bigger picture.   These pictures show a little bit of both, so there is a bit of balance in my life!

These wooden sculptures are some of my most treasured carvings, which I bought many years ago, they are all hand carved from one piece of wood, by a very clever man, who used to live in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Each piece is an original, and they give great pleasure to look at and to hold.

You can see that those carvings would be nice to roll around in your hand. Great wood entries
