The challenge this week from Nancy Merrill Photography is to show a photo or photos that conveys ‘trapped’.
In my first photo, these metal gates look very intimidating and secure. They are the entrance gates to the Crawford Art Gallery in Cork City, and as well as being very ornate, they have a big important function in protecting the many magnificent works of art within.

This second photo shows a little robin, trapped by the camera while she took the early morning sun, but she was not trapped for long, one click of the camera and she was free!
