Travel Theme : Land Meets Water

Blue Lagoon, Malta

Blue Lagoon, Malta

I am sitting looking out at a dull sky…and cheering myself up by looking at pictures of our recent holiday, and blue skies, and warm water.     This picture of the Blue Lagoon, between Malta and Gozo, has shallow, clear water, and you can walk from one side of the lagoon to the other (tides permitting) and explore the interesting caves on the far side.

Freighter in Valletta Grand Harbour

There goes a freighter heading for the shore line in Valletta, passing by Fort St. Elmo which laps the waters of the shore.

And look at the blue water that is just so inviting.

Aw I’m weak looking at the blue lagoon. I hate the sun and heat, but with the pox weather we’ve been having for the first time ever I’m happy to go. Only a few more sleeps!
