Stillness and Movement

Stillness and Movement

The reflection on the still water is a good contrast with the water cascading down towards an old water wheel, which moves the sparkling stream further on its way.

This photo was taken in the town of Bantry in West Cork, and is linked to Travel Theme : Move

Nice contrast between the still and moving water. And the YouTube video of the waterwheel at the library in Bantry is even more impressive. There must have been a lot of rain.

Great photo Joan. We were there in the summer. Nice to have a waterwheel right in the center of town.

I think I did some of the guests’ nails for that wedding, if it was in the Walter Raleigh Hotel. It’s a lovely venue, with the sea across the road.
