Old houses in Malta

This week, my doors are from Valletta in Malta, a row of old traditional houses, with the type of  balcony that is seen a lot in this area, giving extra space to the upstairs room.  Even though the houses are quite old, they look freshly painted and the owners still take pride in their houses.

    Wow! An entire row of amazing old doors, thanks for sharing. Interesting about the bumped-out balcony/room. It’s amazing how old building regulations influence the architecture we see even today.

    My sister and her hubby went to Malta this year for a holiday and said it was the best break away together they’ve had yet and they’ve been everywhere. She said it was so relaxing and they’d definitely go back again. Lovely old buildings in your photo Joan.
