Angels in Prague

Prague hotel

Angels and Gargoyles

Prague is a city where we found lots of sculptures, carvings, statues and magnificent buildings.   Everywhere we went, we came across another reason to stop and take a photograph – it is known as the city of 100 spires, and the old town is full of baroque buildings, Gothic churches (with lots of gold) and a medieval Astronomical Clock.   Even our hotel lobby was another example of the many carvings of Angels, Gods and Gargoyles to be found everywhere.

Have you visited?    I will be posting some of the many sights we found over the next while – my camera was worn out from the weight of all those buildings and statues!

I love your ‘listening or bored?” pic 🙂

I went to Prague in 2012 and loved it! I’m now heading back there in June and am so looking forward to getting different views and photos from the first time that I was there.
