Monte Baldo in Lake Garda
This is my favourite mountain meadow, called Monte Baldo, overlooking the village/town of Malchesine on Lake Garda. The top of the mountain is 2218 m high, and can be reached on foot (quite a climb) or by the easier option of cable cars. Because of the height, one cable car takes you half way up the mountain, then you can either climb the rest of the way or take the second cable car. Once on the top the views are amazing, and there is so much going on there that you can enjoy a day in the mountain.

Lisstening to the Band
The magenta daisies and petunias listen to the music on a summer day. This photo was taken at the bandstand in Cobh, Co Cork, on a sunny weekend last summer. Apart from its famous Cathedral overlooking the town, Cobh is well known because it was the last port of call for the Titanic 100 years ago.

Eggplants, also known as aubergines, tend to range in shade from deep purple almost black, to a lighter shade of lilac.

Ancient flagstones
Yet another blue for this challenge, this time Cornflower. and I took this photo when visiting Worms in Germany. The ancient cobblestones have grass growing between them, and they are so old that they have turned a shade of blue, almost matching my grandson’s tractor boots, while my own shoes do a good job of blending in!
