I hope your Saturday is going well, and wherever you are, you can enjoy some bubbles, whether it’s champagne, prosecco, or the fun kind above, taken in the Old Town Square, Prague

Cows in Ireland
There are so many different breeds of cows, black, white, brown and a combination of all these colours. I particularly like the spotted cows below, a special breed found in Zimbabwe and South Africa called the Nguni.

The construction of the Arc de Triomphe, at the western end of the Champs Elysees, near the Louvre in Paris, was started in 1806, during Napoleon’s time. It was his idea that the victorious armies would march through the arch on their return from battle. Sadly however, Napoleon did not live to see the arch completed, as he died in 1821, and it was only completed in 1836. At the time, the building cost millions, and it is a monument to all those who died in the French wars, with the names of 558 French generals inscribed on it, and at the base is a tomb to the Unknown Soldier, as a monument to World War 1, and all the French people who died in the war. There is also an eternal flame at the base, which is lit every evening, in memory of all the fallen heroes.
Paris is a wonderful city, with so many monuments and sights to see, and, along with the Eiffel Tower, this must be one of the most photographed sights in Paris.
