On a trip to South Africa last year, we went to the Saturday Farmers’ market near Knysna. This market is a great gathering place for all the locals, both local stall holders who sell food, flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts, jewellry, and anything else you care to mention, and the local people who come to browse and buy, and to
use the opportunity to catch up with all friends and family.
There was a great variety of food on offer, and lovely teas and coffee, but as you can see, in the end a lot of us went with the old favourite – the full
Irish South African!
