Are we there yet….are we….
the long climb up Cardiac Hill in Killarney, but we were rewarded with great views….eventually!

sitting by the lagoon
And we quickly hopped over to the Blue Lagoon between Malta and Gozo for a rest under the umbrellas!

Red boats stand out, especially against the grey stonework and the blue, blue sea, in Valletta Harbour, Malta.
And these red poppies are just wonderful, and remind me of summer heat.

This is my idea of a perfect sky, as blue as possible, which means warmth and holidays and good times, and if there is scenery and history thrown in, so much the better!

I am sitting looking out at a dull sky…and cheering myself up by looking at pictures of our recent holiday, and blue skies, and warm water. Â Â This picture of the Blue Lagoon, between Malta and Gozo, has shallow, clear water, and you can walk from one side of the lagoon to the other (tides permitting) and explore the interesting caves on the far side.
There goes a freighter heading for the shore line in Valletta, passing by Fort St. Elmo which laps the waters of the shore.
And look at the blue water that is just so inviting.

The wooden shutters and balcony on this house have been given a little Tender Loving Care to spruce them up, in contrast to the house below, which has been neglected and left unloved.
